Waccamaw Chief Harold Hatcher urges replacement of Columbus Day with special day honoring indigenous Americans.

As I previously reported, Waccamaw Indian Chief Harold "Buster" Hatcher is urging replacement of Columbus Day with a special day honoring indigenous Americans, defending his people from their sense of being "invisible" in society today.

Chief Hatcher's remarks are presented in the above video, providing in graphic terms the reasons why he believes such an action would be a small step in recognizing Native Americans and their contributions to our nation.

I hope you enjoy this video.
